Dawal Beach Resort is a tribute to a great father from his grateful son. The present resort was once an expanse of seaside grassland that was developed into what is now one of the pride of Zambales. It was initially conceived as a family retreat but guests continued to pour in so the birth of Dawal Beach Resort became inevitable.
The resort offers its patrons a choice between pool side rooms, regular rooms, deluxe rooms, house with garage, kubo (nipa hut), penthouse and dormitory. The rooms are fully air-conditioned with complimentary towels and other modern conveniences. For corporate and groups who wish to combine work and pleasure, the air-conditioned dormitories will perfectly suit their needs. For day guests, they can be accommodated in the resort’s kiosks located right at the beach front.
Dawal Beach Resort offers a range of activities for their valued guests. Aside from lazing and basking under the tropical sun while enjoying a refreshing dip in the pristine waters, guests are also invited to use the resort’s swimming pool, basketball and volleyball court, billiards, mahjong set, chess set, pool table, darts and KTV facility. Car wash and car services are available. For fine dining experience, the resort’s restaurant offers Filipino, Chinese and American dishes. Room service as well as catering and banquet services are also available. For night time entertainment, the resort has a stage complete with musical instruments, a karaoke system where guests can sing- along with the live bands which perform regularly.
Dawal Beach Resort can be reached by land. From Olongapo City, just follow the road passing through Subic, Castillejos, San Marcelino, San Felipe, Botolon, Iba and Masinloc. Upon reaching Candelaria, the resort should be easy to locate.

Dawal Beach Resort is the sort of resort for you if you want to have a STRESSFUL AND UNCOMFORTABLE dream vacation. That is what we had when we were there. There are bed bugs, lizards, mosquitos and of course to complete the gang…cockroaches(big and small you name it). To top it up, water comes and goes. There are showers but they are useless, you will end up using the pail and the dipper anyway to save enough water to rinse off. The electricity trips off at times. They did not give us towels in our room, just tissues and small bath soap. The drains are clogged. The aircon is not enough to make the room cold, so we had to request an electric fan. Things here in Dawal are delayed, the check in time, the food, the requests…. The pool is clean however and the staff are calm. If you still press on booking here, make sure you ask what floor your room is at so as not to be surprised that your are located on the third floor and have to drag your luggages up to the steep stairs (stairs that are wet and sandy). To the Dawal management please consider this review to better your resort.

felt bad on how the person in green shirt treated his fellow employee,,i was in dawal just this month and a wedding was held during my stay on the place..napaka unethical.. the story goes like these… he called the other employee without respect as if he was just talking to people na walang feelings..he dont know proper values and manners…suggestion lang or payo na lang learn to be good with your co workers first hindi porket a head ka u can treat them the way sa nakita ko.. i think u should go back home tapos paturo ka ng mabuting asal…sa parents mo..remember that even the simplest creature on earth deserve respect.. tao pa kaya at sa harapan ng maraming tao… i am just concern… please dawal beach resort management be particular with manners kc service ang binibigay nyu towards the people… nothing personal… in addition to that i enjoy the place.. sana pagbalik ko wala na akong ma witness na ganito kc ang pangit .. at sana nagbago na xa…
