Women in Travel discovers Enchanted Hidden Beauty of Philippine Destination
The Women in Travel (WIT), a 27 year old organization who support domestic tourism by promoting and exploiting the country’s potential to come up with new well-packaged products for local and foreign tourists.
Sen. Richard Gordon conducted a new officers an officers of the WIT at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex Roxas Blvd., Manila.
One of the project of WIT is the “Hiyas ng Turismo” in which the group travel in different unexploited and unfamiliar parts of the country and discover the hidden enchanted beauty of the Philippine destinations and attractions. This hidden beauty will be promoted to boast up tourism.
WIT has discovered four fresh potential tourist destination while doing charity work for the underprivileged. Some of the places they visited were age-old churches, caves and beaches in Cagayan Valley; falls, beaches and fruit plantation in Sipalay, Negros Occidental; went white water rafting in Bugang, Antique; then went boating and trekking in Cavinti, Laguna.
