Subic Bay Freeport Zone Philippines: Ocean Adventure in Camayan Wharf

Ocean Adventure is Southeast Asia’s only open-water marine park where marine animals live and play in a natural setting complete with various marine life, coral reefs and of course, white sand beach. The resort aims to establish a world-class marine attraction that will provide an entertaining as well as informative guests experience through presentations and direct interaction with marine animals. Ocean Adventure is located in Camayan Wharf, West Ilanin Forest Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone Philippines.

The main attraction of the resort is the dolphin and friends show wherein bottlenose dolphins and false killer whales are the stars. Guests will be thrilled by the animals’ grace, agility, power and intelligence. The presentation is packed with action, lots and lots of smiles, interesting information as well as an important conservation message. Another attraction is the El Capitan which is a shipwreck located right off the shore of Ocean Adventure. The Stadium is a great place to watch the whales swim leisurely and play in between shows. The Nautilus Theater features South American sea lions. The show is filled with lots of action, laughter and fun and shows what it takes to be a member of the Sea Lion Marine Patrol. To be true conservationists, the Sea Lion Marine Patrol practices the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The Sea Lion Training Center is home to our 9 South American Sea Lions. This is where they live, work and play. Guests can even watch the talented sea lions express themselves in the Sea Lion Painting Session. The marine animals at Ocean Adventure are trained through positive reinforcement which means they earn something they like for working and learning. Their favorite reward is fish, but they also enjoy praise and friendly pat. Positive reinforcement training means the animals choose to cooperate. They are never forced to work. Ocean Adventure also have an Ocean Discovery Aquarium where visitors can explore the fascinating marine waters of Subic Bay and South China Sea without getting wet. Inside the air-conditioned Aquarium, visitors can see many marine animals in their natural habitat. All the shows, exhibits and displays are designed to teach visitors while having fun because it is the best way to learn.
