MacArthur Park Beach Resort is located along the historic Red Beach which is the site of one of the great naval battles in history. The resort is a Class A resort and is near the MacArthur Landing memorial.

The resort sets on a five-hectare property with native inspired room decorations. There are sixty-three rooms in the resort to accommodate the guests. The accommodations come complete with air-conditioning, cable TV, private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, telephone and all the comforts of modern amenities. There are standard rooms, deluxe rooms and suite rooms.

The services that the resort offers are transfer service, main and postage, tour arrangements, baby sitting, banquet arrangements, laundry service, safety deposit box and room service. Amenities includes swimming pools, beach kiosks, volleyball courts, function room, Beach Head Cafe Bar, picnic grounds with tents and tables, gazebo and indoor games facilities like chess, domino, scrabble, table tennis and mahjong. Nightly entertainment is provided by at the Beach Head Cafe Bar. The ballroom dancing schedule is every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

MacArthur Park Beach Resort can be reached by air, sea and land. There are daily flights to Tacloban or Cebu. Ferry trips are available daily except on Wednesday and Saturday from Manila to Cebu and from Cebu to Ormoc and from Ormoc, by bus or vans for hire (VHire). There are bus companies like Philtranco that ply the route from Manila to Palo five times daily.
