Under the combined expert management of Filipino, German and Australian, Lago de Oro Beach Club is not new in the business therefore; guests are assured of top quality service. Located not far from the tip of Calatagan Peninsula, the resort is far from all the pressures of the urban life. Lago de Oro is surrounded by palm trees with some mangroves fringing the seashore. During low tide, the water recedes far from the shore which uncovers a vast stretch of sand. Children and adults alike will enjoy in discovering the various marine life that collects in the shallow pools like stripped multicolored worms, sea cucumbers, hermit crabs, starfish and many more. Bullock-cart rides are available for free which will bring laughter and fun especially for the young ones and the young at heart. There are also seashell peddlers with vast arrays of beautiful shells at bargain prices.

Accommodations of the guests are catered through two two-story Mediterranean-style buildings with white facades, arcades and tile roofs. The interiors of these buildings are spacious and comfortable with pale rattan furnitures that invite the guests to lounge and relax. The rooms are air-conditioned and have hot and cold water.  As for food and dining, the resort’s restaurant is always open with its large picture windows, circular, open-air terrace and wrought iron and wicker furniture. Dinner can also be had in tent setups in the garden.

Lago de Oro offers water-ski or wakeboarding by cable ski system, play golf at Calatagan Golf Course or in the beach sand, snorkeling, scooter rides, fishing, sight- seeing tours, swimming pool and sauna bath, carabao rides for children and adults and various indoor games. There is also an internet cafe in the resort as well as a helipad.

How to get there:

From Manila using coastal road pass through Tagatay and go straight towards Nasugbu. Upon Reaching “Y” junction just after Uni-Oil Gas Station (right side) turn Right. After passing Sugar Mill, turn Left on “T” junction with Shell Gasoline Station on the left corner. Pass through Lian towards Calatagan. Lago De Oro is on the right side of the highway in Balibago, Calatagan.

From Makati using the South Super Highway, take exit at Sta. Rosa, turn Right and go straight, pass thorugh Tagaytay towards Nasugbu. Upon reaching “Y” junction just after Uni-Oil Gas Station (right side) turn Right. After passing Sugar Mill, turn Left on “T” junction with Shell Gasoline Station on the left corner. Pass through Lian towards Calatagan. Lago De Oro is on the right side of the highway in Balibago, Calatagan.
