Visited Blue Rock 2008 and had a great time. Lee, our instructor, checked the three of us out in the pool to make sure we could handle the dive. He took us out to some sunken ships and we had an outstanding time diving and checking out the sunken boats. The hotel served very good food and drinks. Rooms were clean and adequate, noting fancy. The hotel bar had a most friendly host of people. All in all, was a great place to stay for a few days.

If you are visiting Bicol like Donsol Sorsogon to watch our Famous Gentle Giants, Whalesharks or Butanding, it is worth detour dropping by Daet Camarines Norte (Don’t use Quirino Hi-way). They have a nice clean Bagasbas beach, known for Surfing and Kite Boarding, that is more private, surrounded with nice and accomodating locals, Mampurog Running water, Islands to tour and Superb restaurants like KFisher Seafood and Japanese Restaurant. Authentic Taste with best ingredients but locally priced. Why? The owners family main business is Fishing Boats and fish Brokers. The owner is also well travelled in Japan, US, Ireland having tasted all the best international foods. You may visit their website at http://www.kfisherseafooddaet.com. When you visit, look for Mama Thel and you’ll get an excellent overview of the best places to go to in Daet.

There was a Sto. Nino Annual Parade held every 4th Sunday of January. Parade starts from PNB, the one facing DFA and it ends in Quirino Grand stand. Our Sto. Nino de Palaboy actually won the best theme for this year. There are more than 100 participants each year.
My question is why the annual Sto. Nino parade is not on the list.
