The resort is just a few minutes drive from Tagbilaran City which is the capital center of Bohol. Sierra Madre Divers can be found at Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol.
Sierra Madre Resort and Sierra Madre Divers offers guests various activities like laser boat rides, sail boat rides, snorkeling, scuba diving, motorbike rides, badminton and swimming in the pool. Three of our own Wonders of Nature are in the top seven for the search of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Our top three nominees are Tubbataha Reef which is in 2nd spot, Chocolate Hills is in third spot and Puerto Princesa Palawan Subterranean River National Park which is in the fifth spot. Mayon Volcano Philippines is currently in the 9th spot in the top 77 candidates of the New 7 Wonders of Nature Nominees ranking. All in the top 7 are Asia’s entries veing for the inclusion in the 7 New Wonders of Nature. Other asian nominees who are included in the magic 7 are Ha Long Bay od Vietnam, Cox’s Bazar Beach of Bangladesh, Ganges River of Bangladesh and Mount Everest Mountain of Nepal.

One of the fastest growing tourist destination here in the country is the Camarines Sur province. The province of Camarines sur is in the same category of tourist arrivals such as Palawan and Bohol. This was divulge by the Department of Tourism where Ace Durano, the Tourism Secretary, said that he expects more tourist arrivals in the coming months to visit the province of Camarines Sur to have their vacation getaway. It will also boost up foreign and local tourist because of the opening of the newest tourist spot in Gota Beach in Caramoan, Camarines Sur.

A first ever Cloud 9 Masters Open will commenced at Siargao Island’s Cloud 9 frpm May 8 to 11, 2008. This tournament is organized by Tatus, a Siargao-based surfing organization, in cooperation with the Philippine Surfing Federation.

Siargao province known to be one of the world’s best surfing destination will be developed as an adventure sports tourism paradise. This was announced by Presiden Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at the opening of the First Siargao Game Fishing Invitational Competition.
The Game Fishing Invitational Competition in Siargao province has opened an opportunity that the municipality of Pilar will become as a game fishing destination here in the Philippines. The other game fishing site in the country is the Cagayan province.

The Department of Tourism is eyeing the Caraga Region that it has a very strong potential in tourism industry in the future. Secretary Joseph Ace Durano of the Department of Tourism has said this in his discussion with the members of the local press.
Secretary Durano is very optimistic that tourism industry will uplift the economic status of Caraga Region. There are still undiscovered natural attractions of this region that are yet to be discovered. Caraga Region has a lot of things to offer in terms of tourism. It has a lot of natural tourist attractions by nature. Caraga Region will become one of the tourist destination of the Philippines. Local government unit of Caraga and DOT is developing tourist sites so that it will gain additional income of the region.

Local town officials of Castillejos, Zambales has recently have a ground breaking for the Looc Lake Development Project that envisions to develop the 113-hectare natural lagoon here. This will be developed into a lake resort in this town.
