2008 Moriones Festival in Marinduque Philippines

This is a week long religious eventcelebrated by the people of Marinduque. Moriones Festival starts on Holy Monday and ends on Easter Sunday. The 2008 Moriones Festival is a very colorful event in the Philippines which people are eager to experience. Visitors such as tourists and locals will see the participants in colorful costumes re-enact the story of Longinus, a Roman centurion who, it is said, speared the crucified body of Jesus Christ. The 2008 Moriones Festival will be celebrated starting on March 17, 2008  and will end on March 23, 2008.

Aliwan Festival 2007 – The Mother of all Fiestas

But there is one festival that is celebrated that incorporates all the different festivals of the Philippines into one grander, louder and more colorful festival that is happening outside of their own provinces and right at the core of Manila, the Aliwan Festival.

Aliwan Fiesta is known as the mother of all Philippine festivals will be celebrated on April 26 and 28. The Aliwan Festival is on its fifth year and organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) together with the cities of Manila and Pasay, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Aliwan Festival brings tourist attraction in Manila because it has so much to offer and brings a new level of excitement.

Pagsanjan Laguna celebrates Pagsanjan Bangkero Festival

Pagsanjan Laguna is celebrating it’s Pagsanjan Bangkero Festival starting today until March 18. Pagsanjan is named as the tourist capital of Laguna and one of the popular world class tourist destination of the Philippines because of its natural wonders and enchanted scenic views. The main tourist attraction in Pagsanjan is the Pagsanjan Falls. The ‘bangkeros’ are tour guides that steer the tourists’ bancas, they are called the boatmen who shoot the rapids all the way to the world-famous Pagsanjan Falls.

Baguio City Celebrates its 12th year Panagbenga Festival as local residents of Baguio City are busy preparing for the festivities. Baguio blooms like a flower for one glorious day in February and Baguio City has so much to offer to it’s visitors especially tourist. In the Panagbenga Festival all the flowers in Baguio City and the Nothern Philippines are shown and displayed at its best rom regal roses to over–the-top–orchids. That is why many tourist wanted to experience the excitement of the festivities.
