Balicasag Island Resort is one of the most popular and worlds best dive resort in the Philippines. It offers many things especially the rich underwater marin life to visitors and tourists. Not only it has the best diving psot but also it have a world class white sand beach resort with pristine crystal clear blue waters.

Balicasag Island is located four kilometers southwest of Duljo Point off Panglao Reef. It has a sandy shell coraline beach with a narrow reef shelf. the island has a total area of 25 hectares, 1.5 of which is developed into Balicasag Island Dive Resort. This special interest resort was opened on October 1989 with the goal of promoting underwater sports and protection of marine life.

The dive resort offers native-inspired air-conditioned cottages and dormitories for their guests’ accommodations. All the cottages have private verandahs where guests can enjoy the breathtaking view if the sea and easy access to the beach. For dining, there are picnic huts along the beach and open-air bar and restaurant that serve International as well as local cuisines. There are two Balinese huts for massage services. The Dive Shop has complete and high-end equipments like tanks, compressors, masks, snorkels, fins, dive lights, booties, weight belts with weight, wetsuits, regulators, buoyancy control jackets, medical kit with oxygen. The resort also has facilities for indoor games like chess and billiards, volleyball courts, karaoke, infinity pool and kiddie pool. Guest services includes speed boats, dive boats, pump boats, airport/seaport transfers, room service, mail and postage service, sundry shop, laundry and pressing, safety deposit boxes, massage services. Tours and packages like island hopping, dolphin and whale watching and dive packages can be arranged.

Balicasag Island Dive Resort can be reached by air through daily flights of Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific via Tagbilaran City. Sea trips through ferries of WG&A, Oceanjet and Weesam. Boat transfer services to the resort can be arranged from Tagbilaran City to Panglao Island or Alona Beach.
