Baguio City Celebrated its 12th year Panagbenga Festival

Baguio City Celebrates its 12th year Panagbenga Festival as local residents of Baguio City are busy preparing for the festivities. Baguio blooms like a flower for one glorious day in February and Baguio City has so much to offer to it’s visitors especially tourist. In the Panagbenga Festival all the flowers in Baguio City and the Nothern Philippines are shown and displayed at its best rom regal roses to over–the-top–orchids. That is why many tourist wanted to experience the excitement of the festivities.

In this two day event of the Panagbenga Festival, the locals vowed to visitors and foreigners to entertainent them by showcasing the people’s talent, artistry and ingenuity via performances, exhibits and more. Especially by showing tourist the dancing prowess and creativity.

In the festivities, a parade will commence and the participants wears colorful costumes. Traditional Igorot garb was also in abundance, and amid all the more contemporary dance moves were the steady beat and steps of native dances. Most of all the floats were the visual feast. This enchanting colorful floats like enchanted garden, floats depicting trains, ships, music boxes and even dolphins jumping out from the sea never fails to delight, amaze and awe the spectators young and old.

In this years event, the Panagbenga Festival targets international audience not only local crowds to boost tourism. But the Panagbenga Festival’s goal remains the same. In this event, the organizers just want to make the spectators, locals and visitors enjoy the festivities.
