Baguio City 14th Panagbenga Festival 2009
February is the month of celebration in Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines. The 14th edition of the Panagbenga Festival also known as the Flower Festival is a month long activities in Baguio. This year Panagbenga festival with its theme “Our festival…Yours, Too” has been launched as early as October 13, 2008.
The local government Baguio City and the organizers of the Panagbenga festival has been preparing this 2009 Panagbenga Festival for months. It has been said that its going to be bigger and grander with more excitement because the city will also celebrating its centennial year as a city. Baguio prepared this Panagbenga Festival 2009 for the balikbayans, tourist and locals so that they will notice great improvements and excitment in this yearly events.
Local and foreign tourist and also balikbayans will have fun in the celebration of the Panagbenga Festival especially in the grand parade and the floats. Tourist will also see how different tribes and nationalities unite and cooperate with diversity in one celebration in the 2009 Panagbenga Festival.

Panagbenga Festival ‘09 was really fun, it was my 1st tym to see the said event, the floats were awesome!!! Congrats!!!
