Philippine Tourism News: Hawaiian Airlines' First Asian Destination is Manila

America's 2007 top airline in quality ratings and Hawaii’s first and largest airline is offering non-stop flights from Honolulu to Manila. Manila Philippines is the first Asian destination of Hawaiian Airlines (HA) starting on April 14. This was announced by the The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and was also stated in their website (www.dfa.gov.ph). Hawaiian Airlines (HA) has already completed all US and Philippine government formalities and logistical requirements.

Because of the large Filipino-American community and still growing in Hawaii and the Philippines economy is growing and the very strong ties between Hawaii and Philippines, the Hawaiian Airlines choose Manila to be its first Asian Destination. DFA said that: "This augurs well for the Philippine tourism industry and for business in general on both sides of the Pacific."

Here is the statem nt of the Hawaiian Airlines (HA) in their website http://www.hawaiianair.com.ph announcing it is now booking "Nonstop service to Manila!" It also said that: "Hawaiian Airlines proudly announces nonstop flights between Honolulu and Manila starting April 14, 2008. Tickets are available now." It also promise to give comfort and convenience to the traveling public, comfortable seating on spacious 767 wide body planes, and warm Hawaiian hospitality, from booking to boarding.

The schedule of Hawaiian Airlines Non-stop HNL-MNL-HNL flights are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Hawaiian Airlines wanted to give more convenient choices for the traveling public.
