There are many different brands of slimming pills in the market today, each promising a quicker and more effective result than the rest. But are slimming pills really safe? The answer is a big NO. Slimming pills have dangerous side effects and must be taken with utmost care. Different slimming pills have different effects on our body. There are some that contain laxatives that stimulates diarrhea which may lead to dehydration and can hinder absorption of useful vitamins and minerals. Some pills suppress appetite and have palpitation, insomnia and anxiety as side effects. Unnecessary consumption of chemicals and derivatives which are present in slimming pills may cause heart failure or even death.
Crash diets
No doctor will approve of crash diets. Weight, lost through crash diets, returns within a year. And moreover, rapid weight loss plans are not healthy. They do not put the person on a nutritious diet which will result in deficiencies and imbalances. A person who is on a crash diet fatigues easily and has dull skin and hair. Starving all day long makes the body produce more insulin and store more fat because the weight that is lost is just water and lean muscle but the fat stays right where it is.
Liposuction
This is the most drastic measure that is undertaken to get rid of the bulge. Aside from being too costly, not everyone is a good candidate for a liposuction. Fat lost because of liposuction will still come back if you are not very careful.
Exercise
Now this is the best, easiest and safest way to combat the big bulge. Exercise and proper diet prevents and treats obesity because prevents fat accumulation and helps keep heart diseases and fatigue at bay. There are many benefits that exercise offers like increase oxygen availability to the body and enables the heart to use it more efficiently, controls body fat and tones the body, gives extra energy and decreases tension and anxiety.
Eating right
A proper diet not only gives our body the important and necessary nutrients that it needs, it also does not starve you. If you want a change in your diet, be flexible, be realistic, include a wide variety of foods and eat slowly.
