Quick and Cheap Beauty Tips

There a lots of beauty products that are made commercially. There is nothing wrong in using them but why spend when you can make your own beauty treatment right out of you kitchen. The following are only some of the few proven and tested homemade beauty treatments:
- Upon waking up in the morning, rub your face gently with a cotton dipped in milk. The milk goes deep down into the pores for a deep cleansing.
- Apply a paste of yogurt mixed with a little orange and lemon to your face to form a mask. Let stay for 30 minutes and then rinse gently.
- To make a face pack, mix ground almonds with ground green gram flour.
- To cool off your face especially after a day under the sun. Apply cucumber juice on your face to refresh it.
- For shinny and glowing hair, boil tea leaves. Add a little lemon juice and apply on your hair. Let stand for 30 minutes and then rinse.
- Watermelon is not for internal consumption alone. Watermelon juice helps the skin a lot. Try applying it for ten to fifteen minutes on your face. Wash alternatively with hot and cold water and feel the difference.
- For pimples and blackheads, make a paste of fenugreek leaves and apply on your face.
- Make a face mask from mashed bananas with honey and cream. Apply on to the face and feel the softness in your skin after you rinse it off.
- Always regarded as a vegetable, this divine fruit can be used to prevent blackheads and remove clogging in pores. It is also a good skin toner. Simply cut off a slice of tomato and rub it on to your skin.
- For a good face scrub, use ground lemon peel and oatmeal. Rub in a circular motion for a few minutes and rinse off.
- To treat oily skin: grind a few lettuce leaves and apply the juice on to your skin. Keep it for a few minutes and notice the difference.
- For chapped lips: Apply olive oil on them and notice that after a few minutes, your lips will start to soften.
- For a quick facial, mix some gram flour and cream and apply on to your face. Keep it on for a few minutes, only till your skin starts feeling a bit stretchy. Wash it off with water. Cream softens your skin, while the flour prevents oiliness.
- Rub some lemon on your elbows and knees to lighten the skin.
Keep in mind that a little bit of patience goes a long way. Regular use is recommended.
