Manny Pacquiao is Open for Three Fights in 2009

After Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao big win agains Oscar de La Hoya, he is lined up for bouts in this year 2009. Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao’s promoter said that the Pacman is open for three fights this year.
One of the opponent that Manny Pacquiao will face is Britain’s Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009 in Las Vegas. The Pacman may also face a bigger fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. if the undefeated pound-per-pound champion will come out of the retirement. But if not then Manny Pacquiao may consider two more fights with worthy contenders like Edwin Valero, Arum said. Some of the worthy contenders in mind are Joan Guzman or Zab Judah and Juan Manuel Marquez, Arum added.
Manny Pacquiao is planning to retire this year and that is why the Top Rank Chief wants to make sure of the Pacman’s biggest boxing fights. Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach wants him to fight Ricky Hatton and then Floyd Mayweather Jr. and then retire. He even mentioned that he also wants to see Manny Pacquiao become President of the Philippines.
The fight of Manny Pacquiao against Ricky Hatton in May 2, 2009 is being finalized. In this fight against Hatton, Manny Pacquiao will earn more than that of his fight against Oscar de La Hoya.
