Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz Kissing Scene?
There are reports that Luis Manzano accepted the gay role in his latest movie with John Lloyd Cruz. Luiz Manzano already told her mom Governor Vilma Santos about this gay role saying “Alam na niya (Gov. Vi) na tinanggap ko na ang gay role. Tinext niya ako at tinanong niya ako kung tinanggap ko na ang offer at sabi ko ‘Opo Ma, tinanggap ko na.’ Actually sabi ko kina Tita Malou (Santos) okay sa akin basta may bed scene kami ni John Lloyd.”
Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz will act as gay lovers in their latest movie in Star Cinema and will do a kissing scene. Luis Manzano said “Tuloy na Tuloy na! It has a gay theme to it, but beside the gay theme, nandoon na ang mother and son, which is kami ng mommy ko. But there is very, very different love story, two stories on top of it.”
This movie will be his first with his mom Vilma Santos and also the directional comeback of Olive Lamasan.
But the question is, why did Luis Manzano accepted the gay role that Star Cinema has offered to him. Luis answered “Pera, pera ang dahilan. Hahaha! Pera lang ang dahilan talaga. Sa laki ng ibinayad sa akin ay hindi na ako nagdalawang isip.” He also added “Hindi sa totoo lang nung unang inoffer sa akin naniwala na agad ako kay Tita Malou at Inang (Olive Lamasan) at nung makita ko ang presentation ni Direk Olive ay nagandahan talaga ako sa project kaya hayun hindi na ako nag-isip pa at tinanggap ko na talaga. Pinaliwanag nila sa akin kung ano ang magiging role ko, kung ano ang gagawin ko after nilang ipaliwanag ang lahat mas nagustuhan ko ang pelikula at yun sinabi ko na nga kay Miss Vilma Santos, nanay ko yun, na okay na ako. Tinanggap ko na ang offer.”
In the latest movie of Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz, kissing scene cannot be avoided. If there is a kissing scene, there won’t be a problem, the actor said. Luiz Manzano said that he is very prepared to do this things and since they are professional actors and matured, it won’t be a problem.
