Second-generation iPhone is introduced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs with 3G support, GPS, improved battery life span and also with a new price. The price of the second-generation the 8GB iPhone is 1/3 the price of what the 8GB iPhone that are sold sold for at launch. The price of the 8GB iPhone will be set at $199 and the 16GB model is $299.

The sales of the second generation iPhone will be on July 11 and these handsets will come in black and white versions. These was announced by Apple and I bet many people are now waiting to have these second generation iPhone in their hands. People wants to have this new generation 8GB iPhone 3G because of the new features it have which was announced by Apple.

There are reasons why people wants to buy and own the second generation 8GB iPhone 3G.

1. Price of the iPhone
First of all, the original price of the iPhone is very expensive that is why the Apple iPhone is considered as an expensive toy. The original iPhone price comes at $599 for the 8GB and $699 for the 16GB. But the new generation iPhone has significantly drop the price for as low as $199 for the 8GB and $299 for the 16GB.

2. 3G Browsing Speed
When you do web activities through your mobile phone, the biggest disappointment is the lag time. This is fraustrating because of the time that you have lost for waiting for a web page to laod. Now because of the 3G technology of the second generation tha Apple has revealed, web pages will load up to 2.8 faster according to Apple. Beause of the 3G-capable iPhone, it has a supercharged web browsing.

3. Greater International Support

Second generation iPhone has a new feature that is much more viable to international users. It has a multilingual keyboard that you change by changing your sim card.

4. Applications Galore

Based on what I saw at the WWDC Keynote, Apple’s approach to application development may pay off in spades. Developing applications appears simple, limited only by the constraints of developers’ imaginations. Distributing the software through iTunes is genius–turning to a single repository to procure content is far easier than scouring the Web for random Symbian, Palm, Windows Mobile, or BlackBerry apps you may want to download.

I see tremendous potential for useful–and downright fun–applications to come out of the development process now that the iPhone software developer’s kit is available. The potential for future apps, coupled with the iPhone’s existing programs–its iPod video and audio capabilities, its photo album, its easy e-mail, its Google Maps and YouTube apps–makes the iPhone 3G a unique offering in the mobile arena.

5. iPhone: Still at the Head of the Class

It seems that Apple is far more advance and ahead to ites competitors because of its innovation. There are many company attempt to kill the iPhone but they haven’t come close to challenging the iPhone’s media handling and ease of use. So even though these iPhone killers are planning again and introduce updates to their lines, Apple is still ahead building its solid head start.
