The highly popular film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from Warner Bros. makes wonders with its magic and hit a box office. At the Wednesday midnight showings in the United States, the latest Harry Potter movie series hit a record of $22.2 million. It even beat the old record holder Batman movie “The Dark Knight” in the Wednesday midnight screenings that earned $18.5 million in 2008.

The Last Airbender is an adaptation of the Nickelodeon animated TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is a fantasy, adventure film with lots of live action film for the whole family that is based on the first season of the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender from Nickelodeon.

From the director of “The Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns”, Stephen Sommers directs the movie G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra with lots of action, adventure and excitement. G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is a movie with lots of fun, action and a James Bond-like territory. The movie is inspired by the ’80s comic book and is designed to be entertaining both for young and old.

The second sequel of Transformers which is “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” has hit another mark in the Hollywood milestone where in just 14 days, it past a $300 million mark domestically after its release. In this event, this makes the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” movie the second fastest movie to reached and top the 300 million US Dollar behind the movie “The Dark Knight” last summer where it reached the past $300 million in just 10 days in release.

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince is a film based on the famous novel by J. K. Rowling. Set to be released this coming July 15, 2009, the film is the sixth installment of the seven movie series. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson reprise their role as Harry, Ron and Hermione respectively. The film also includes some actors who are reprising their roles in the previous movies in this series.
