From the director of “The Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns”, Stephen Sommers directs the movie G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra with lots of action, adventure and excitement. G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is a movie with lots of fun, action and a James Bond-like territory. The movie is inspired by the ’80s comic book and is designed to be entertaining both for young and old.
The story behind this action pack movie, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is about the two specially trained military operatives, Duke and Ripcord, who joined an elite international team called “G.I. Joe.” The elite unit named “G.I. Joe” uses the latest next-generation military and spy ultra-high-tech equipment where they are working under the radar and answers to no one. This elite unit does not accespt failure as an option. Their current assignment brings this unit all over the world from Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps to track down an infamous enemy named Destro. Destro is also known as a corrupt arms dealer and works behind the ominous new organization known only as “Cobra.”
In this movie, the elite unit known as G.I. Joe will also uncover the dark and evil truths of the mysterious Cobra organization. This elite unit will prevent the Cobra organization to make the world into chaos.
The movie “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” will be shown in theathers on August 7th, 2009. This movie is an Action/Adventure and War and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. The stars that casts in this movie are Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park and Rachel Nichols. Stephen Sommers is the director/Producer with David Womark, Gary Barber also as producers.
