Philippines were shaken by two earthquakes in different time and places Tuesday. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the earthquakes occur in Agusan del Norte while the other in Nueva Ecija.

In 31 kilometers northwest of Butuan City at around 12:56 a.m, the tectonic quake occurred registering to 4.1 in magnitude. Butuan City has an intensity 5 quake and Surigao City at intensity 4.

But at around 12:14 p.m., another quake hit kilometers southeast of Palayan City. The quake was also tectonic in origin and had a magnitude of 3.1.. Palayan City experience an intensity 3 quake.

There were no damage in those quakes and there where no aftershocks. Phivolcs saidthat there are not expecting aftershocks in those earthquakes.
