Today's election will showcase the nation's struggle for democratic princicples. People are vigilant and are guarding their votes. Election fraud are very rampant during elections days here in the country such as vote buying, stealing ballot boxes and electoral cheating. But their are still people who still sell their votes.

The influential Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) is reminding the people to vote accoeding to their conscience." The people should vote candidates who are sincere and could advance the common good of the country not those candidates that are corrupt. CBCP asked the people to make this election 2007 peaceful, clean, accurate and meaningful.
