Bel-at
Beach: Amazing soft corals, gorgonians and stony
corals can be seen here in the walls itself. The current
is strong in here and is rough. Schools of jacks,
surgeonfish, Rainbow Runners, seetlips and batfish are
common. Larger Marine life are sometimes seen in here
such as Napoleon Wrasse, turtles, Whitetip Reef Sharks
and Grey Reef Sharks.
Yapak 1 and 2: Large barrel of sponges Linchia
starfish, soft corals and gorgonians covered the wall.
Grey Reef Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks are common and
Hammerhead Sharks, Manta Rays and Eagle Rays can be seen
in here. Schools of surgeonfish, pennantfish, bannerfish,
barracuda, jacks, tuna, snappers, sweetlips and Rainbow
Runners. This dive site is the most exciting dive
getaway in Boracay. |

Punta
Bonga: The walls of this site runs on to Yapak and
Bel-At. Beautiful soft corals can be seen in here. Uniqu
marine can be seen in the stony corals with jacks,
stingrays, groupers, triggerfish, sweetlips, angelfish,
butterflyfish, cornetfish, trumperfish, pufferfish,
lionfish, sea stars and sea cucumbers.
Baling Hai Beach: The dive site that is rich in
coral garden. The coral garden has abundant soft,
leathery and Acropora table corals. A mixture of reef
fish can be spotted here like surgeonfish, butterflyfish,
angelfish, damselfish, lionfish, scorpionfish,
pufferfish, parrotfish and chromis, with lizardfish,
Blue spotted Lagoon Rays, sea stars and sea cucumbers
down on the sand.
Friday's Rock: Group of wonderful sea wildlife
can be experienced in here. You can see angelfish,
butterflyfish, surgeonfish, damselfish, sergeant majors,
parrotfish, triggerfish, snappers, scorpionfish,
lionfish, sweetlips, groupers, cuttlefish and wrasse. On
the sand you can see blue-spotted Lagoon Rays, moray
eels, ribbon eels, Linckia starfish, Choriaster Cushion
Starfish, Pincushion Starfish and sea cucumbers.
Lobster Rock: In this location, it is best to
five at night. Exotic Sea creatures like Spiny lobsters,
plus surgeonfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, damselfish
and sergeant majors, most of which hide in holes in the
reef at night when crabs, shrimps, moray eels and
shellfish come out to feed.
Greenyard and Angol: This die site is good for
snorkeling and is used by novice divers. The reef has
gentle slopes mixed sand and small stony corals with
anemones and clownfish, sea grasses, damselfish, sea
stars, sea cucumbers and sea urchins.
Crocodile Island, South Side: One of the famous
dive site and is a favorite dive site. This dive site
has shallow coral gardens and canyons to caverns and
vertical wall. This dive site is called crocodile
because it resembles a crocodile from afar. You can see
lots of squirrelfish, soldierfish, parrotfish,
cardinalfish, rainbow rasse and bird wrasse. A large
group of garden eels and some large sea snakes,
good-sized whip corals and gorgonians, black coral and
anemones with clownfish. The marine life is so bountiful
that you can see angelfish, bannerfish, pennantfish,
butterflyfish, Titan and Redtooth Triggerfish, Line
Sweetlips, anthias, chromis, Moorish Idols, damselfish,
snappers, fusiliers, surgeonfish, groupers, goatfish,
trumpetfish, cornetfish, pipefish, hawkfish, moray eels,
sea stars, sea cucumbers and many nidibranchs. |
